      Engine Vibration Absorption. Harmonic balancers, otherwise known as dampeners, are necessary to absorb and remove unwanted vibration generated by the crankshaft. If an OEM harmonic balancer is exposed to the elements for a long time, it can wear out. Manufactured by Dorman, the Harmonic Balancer Assembly is exactly what your vehicle needs to eliminate the vibration that results from torsional twisting.

      Durable Construction. This harmonic balancer is made from ductile steel, while the stress-resistant bond is made from rubber. Together, these two components can properly absorb engine vibration while providing resistance to traction and impact.

      Direct-Fit Replacement. This harmonic balancer is made to replace your OEM unit. It comes with a woodruff key, bolts, and washers you need for the installation. No modifications are required for this project. You can find more details about the installation in the user manual.

      Limited Lifetime Warranty. Dorman warrants all their products, including the Harmonic Balancer Assembly, to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you have the product. If you have any questions regarding this warranty, you can find more information on the manufacturer’s website.

      Application. To install the Harmonic Balancer Assembly, you need to have a 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma vehicle equipped with a 2.7L engine. There shouldn’t be any exclusions, but you can always check with customer service to make sure this harmonic balancer will fit your vehicle.
