ExtremeTerrain Gives Back

ExtremeTerrain Gives Back

Jeep and Toyota Truck experts, ExtremeTerrain is happy to give back to both the Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV) and overlanding communities as well as non-industry related charities through sponsorships and monetary donations.

Go Topless Day

Go Topless Day, established in 2007, is a worldwide tradition for the Jeep community in celebration of the start of Spring. Removing their Jeep Tops, tens of thousands of Jeepers annually host individualized events raising money for local charities. Events range from 4x4 and OHV trail cleanups, Jeep Parades, to show and shines. Each event that raises a minimum of $500 for their local 501(C)(3) organization receives a $500 additional contribution from ExtremeTerrain.

Surprise Jeep Build

In the summer of 2016 ExtremeTerrain received outreach from the Southern Delaware Jeep club to help in an effort to fix up the 2-Door Jeep Wrangler JK belonging to local Police Officer Christopher Dorman who was shot seven times while on duty. The build began as a simple request for bumpers and ended in an epic, $25,000 surprise overhaul on Officer Dorman's Wrangler.

Clean Trail Grant Project

In April of 2015, Extreme Terrain launched the Clean Trail Grant Program, which gives back to both the OHV and Overland communities by funding trail clean-up and improvement related projects. Grant Recipients will receive a $250 check and large-industrial strength trash bags to help them kick start their trail cleanup or trail improvement projects. As of March 2020, we have awarded over 100 grants dedicated to the clean-up of both off-road trails and nature preserves totaling over $25,000!

ExtremeTerrain created a $2,500 scholarship that is awarded once in the fall semester and once in the spring semester. The scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Environmental Studies, Environmental Research, Land Use, Earth and Atmosphere Studies, Sustainable Land Management, Parks and Recreation, or Sustainable Agriculture Systems or a related field. As of July 2019, we have awarded 10 students, each with a $2500 scholarship to help pursue their education.
