      Hey guys, it's Joe from ExtremeTerrain, and today we're going to be working with the I4 Aluminum Running Boards fitting all '05 and newer Tacoma Double Cabs. Now, these are going to be perfect for any Tacoma owner out there that's looking for a budget-friendly, well manufactured, and non-flashy way to make getting in and out of their truck just a little bit easier. These are made out of a heavy-duty aluminum which is rigid, yet lightweight, these double awesome side protection for your truck. Something to think about if you plan on doing any off-roading. These are finished in a heavy-duty satin black powder coat that is not just there for looks, it doubles as a layer of protection from the elements as well. It matches the black accents on our Tacoma perfectly and in my opinion, I really like the understated looks of this one. It looks like it could have come on the truck from the factory. These are going to give you about 4.5 inches of area to plant your foot and there's even a couple strips of tread on there to prevent you from slipping.Pricing for the double cab version though is going to come in right around 175 bucks. And at that price, it's one of the most budget-friendly running boards on the website. And personally, I think this is one of my favorites. I like the understated looks, it's durable, it gets the job done without being too flashy as well, which is one of my favorite things about this set.Install for this is going to be extremely easy. All Tacomas '05 and newer have threaded holes on the bottom that are perfect for running board brackets so there's no drilling or cutting to get these on your truck without any issues. I'm going to give it a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. Should only take a couple hours to get these hooked up. So, without any further ado, let me show you what tools do you need and let me show you how it's done. The only tools you'll need for this install are going to be an impact or ratchet, 13-millimeter socket, and 10-millimeter socket.So, like I said earlier, this is going to be extremely easy. As you can see, our truck is on the lift, you definitely don't need one of those to do this. All we're going to be doing is going into these pre-threaded holes right on the truck right here. There's one in the middle and there's one up front. We're going to be hitting all three of those on the passenger side. Now, sometimes there are plugs in those holes. If your truck has those, you can pull them right out. We're going to put this bracket in place and bolt it down with the 13-millimeter hardware included in the kitNow, as you probably noticed at this point, all the brackets are marked passenger front, passenger rear, and this one is actually marked passenger rear as well. This one is an identical bracket to the rear one, so they just marked both of them passenger rear. The only one that differs is the front bracket and that will have an F1 on it to denote that. Now also, if you have an access cab, this bracket will not be here. That'll just be empty. And just to point out the difference here, as you can see these two mounting points are a little bit further apart up frontNext, we're going to install these plastic covers to our bracket. Now, these are just there to clean up the looks a little bit. They get installed with two push pins each. Now, those push pins, if you do want to back them out, you will need a Phillips head screwdriver.Now, we're going to take the square head and bolts here and drop them down the tracks in our running board. That track is slotted at both ends and each track is going to get three bolts. Then we're going to go to the truck, drop these in and align them with our brackets. Now, these are going to get spaced out accordingly, but just to give myself a fighting chance while we're maneuvering this, I'm just going to put them in the middle so they don't slide around as much. Now we got our bolts in place, we're just going to bring this to the truck, drop them on the brackets, and then space out those bolts.Now, at this point, we're going to run through and apply some hardware to each of those six bolts, adjust our running board as necessary, then run through and tighten all of it down with a 10-millimeter socket and do the same exact thing for the other side.All right, guys, and that is going to do it for my review and install the I4 Aluminum Running Boards fitting all '05 and newer Tacoma Double Cabs.
