      Tough Build Quality. This transmission console accent trim’s previously mentioned multi-layer construction first starts substrate made from a high-quality carbon fiber sheet that’s precision-cut to exact specifications, ensuring a perfect fit. A top layer molded from UV-treated clear domed resin gives the carbon fiber substrate exceptional scratch and fade protection that also creates an eye-catching 3D effect. Lastly, this console accent trim utilizes a 3M adhesive film for its base layer to seal off the carbon fiber while also providing peel-and-stick install convenience.

      Easy Install Procedure. This accent trim with its 3M automotive-grade adhesive base layer makes its installation easy. However, to maximize adhesion, it is suggested you clean the mounting surfaces before wiping them down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to get rid of any grease or residue that can interfere with proper adhesion. It is also a good idea to warm up the mounting surfaces slightly when installing this accent trim during cold weather. You can use a hair dryer or a heat gun.
