This carrier takes advantage of the Wrangler JL’s reinforced tailgate hinges allowing you to carry up to 35-Inch tires with no issues. In fact, you can remount your third brake light assembly as well as your back-up camera with beefed-up housing, all on this tire carrier.
Superior Manufacturing. DV8 specializes in off-road accessories and the DV8 Offroad Tailgate-Mounted Tire Carrier is no exception. The assembly is made of 3/16-Inch cold-rolled steel plates for maximum durability and toughness. Surfaces are weather-resistant with a protective powder coated finish that prevents rust and corrosion from creeping in.
Easy and Hassle-Free Installation. Installing the DV8 Offroad Tailgate-Mounted Tire Carrier is made easier with the carrier designed specifically for the Wrangler JL. It makes use of factory mounting holes already on the Jeep for a hassle-free install. For best results, follow the enclosed instructions carefully.
