Description
Modify and Optimize Your Jeep. Modify and upgrade your Jeep to your heart’s content without worrying about updating your onboard computer with the help of this Superchips Flashcal device. This user-friendly hand-held tuner features a clear 2.80-Inch display with a simplified tactile navigation that lets you change and adjust various settings on your Jeep. The device allows you to maintain accurate speedometer readings, diagnose engine trouble codes, and more.
Importance of Recalibration. It’s extremely important to recalibrate your onboard computer after a lift, tire upgrade, or gear change. Not only will these changes affect speedometer and odometer readings, but it will also result in a sluggish performance because of the incorrect shifting points.
Device Features. The Superchips Flashcal comes with a full-color HD display that measures 2.8-Inches. Compared to other devices, this tuner is sleek and modern much like a cellphone. The device comes with a jumper module that connects your Jeep’s gateway port. The device then connects to the module via the OBD II cable.
User-Friendly Interface. The Superchips Flashcal contains a simplified menu with 3 main selections – Options, Scan, and Info. It is designed to include only the most common settings that need updating. However, if you wish to include the advanced performance tuning, you can upgrade the device by going to the manufacturer’s website and pay to download the additional options.
