This front shock has a monotube internal construction for higher damping precision and less vibration and shaking in your car. To add a few inches of lift to your truck, you can use this part instead of coil spring spacers.
High-Quality Construction. This front shock features a snap ring grooved coilover construction and a sturdy, 46mm diameter housing. Additionally, it has a self-adjusting, deflective-disc valve setting and a progressive piston. It also has a zinc-plated finish applied to it to improve the shock's resistance to rust and corrosion.
Installation.Professional installation of the Bilstein B8 5100 Series Front Shock for 0 to 2.50-Inch Lift is recommended but you can install it yourself if you have the necessary tools and equipment. The shock bolts on directly and installation can take about an hour.
