These Barricade Extreme HD Adventure doors are for the rear of your 2007 to 2018 JK. Of course that four door JK that has the rear doors. And these are really gonna be for those of you that are looking for a matching set of rear doors and already have the front. I imagine there aren't going to be a lot of you that are gonna run these in the back without a set in the front. So these are available of course for the front and for the rear of your jeep. These doors are gonna be a little bit different from some of the other ones that you'll see. They're very much a tubular design, but they do have a little bit of plate steel in here that's just gonna change up the look of these a little bit, so you get a slightly different aesthetic from these doors than you do from some of the other ones. These are going to install very very easily on to your jeep. Definitely a one out of three wrench install, and I'll show you exactly how to do it in just a second. So, the tube door is really something that's going to be a styling modification. Some of you have kids in the back seat, maybe you have dogs, you want them to be a little bit more secure while still running that open-air feeling of taking that factory door off, and that's gonna be a good use for this. But, it is really more of a look thing than it is going to be a functional piece. So, if you like the look of this with, again, the slightly different bar that runs down the center, the flat plate steel with the holes drilled in it, versus a more traditional horizontal bar tube door, I think this is gonna be a pretty good choice for you. I do think that these are pretty high quality. I like the way that they are built. However, they don't have some features of some of the more expensive doors. And those features are going to be right up here with the latch. This is going to be a non-locking latch. And some of you might say, "Why do I need a locking latch? It's a tube door. Somebody could easily get into my jeep, there's nothing closing it off in here." Well, the lock actually keeps somebody from walking away with your tube doors. As long as the door is closed and locked, you can't open it and lift it off the hinge. Even if you have the hardware installed here, it's still pretty easy to remove that and somebody can take your doors. So, people like the locks, not to keep people out of the jeep, but to keep the locks installed on the door when they're not close by. One of the other features that you'll find on some of the more expensive tube doors is an adjustable hinge here. That hinge pin is going to be something that's welded on to the door on these ones, and there's a small chance that during that process things can get moved a little bit, and you may have to massage that pin to get everything installed on the jeep. With the adjustable ones, it makes that install a little bit easier, and you can really fine tune how the door is lined up. Our doors dropped right into place, everything worked just fine. But again, this is going to be a slightly less expensive than some of the other choices out there, and it's because of those couple of features that these don't have. These are also not going to have any sort of door skin that you can buy for them, and they're not going to come with a door skin either, so again, if you're looking for something that has more features, those options are gonna be out there, and again, a little bit pricier. But overall, I think these are really well built. I like the aesthetic of these, being a little bit different from the more traditional versions. And these come in at $350 for a pair, which I do think is very affordable and right where they should be for the features that you're getting. So, as I mention before, I'm gonna show you exactly how to get these installed right now. These doors install very easily onto your jeep, like I said, a one out of three wrench installation. Some of the assembly is something you really only have to do one time, and then every time you take the doors on and off after that you don't have to redo that. And we'll show you that when we adjust the latch. But, the first step is of course going to be removing your factory door, and in order to make that a little bit easier, we're gonna roll the window down, that just makes it easier to grab on to the door, make sure you transport it without damaging it. After the window is down, you wanna go ahead and remove the nuts that are holding the door onto the hinge. Ours have disappeared over the years and yours may have as well. Usually, these are something that come off one time, never get reinstalled, and just sort of disappear. So, whether you had your jeep since it was new or you bought it second hand, chances are these are missing, not a big deal, the doors still work fine without them. And for our tube doors, we're actually gonna use the hardware that's included in the box. So, if you already don't have nuts here, go ahead and skip that step, if you do, you'll wanna remove them now, being careful not to scratch the paint on the door. Now, we can open up the door, pop the access panel off so we can unplug the wiring harness that goes through the door and also remove the limiting strap which will allow us to lift the door off the hinges and set it aside. Now that we have the factory door completely removed and set aside somewhere safe, we'll go ahead and get the tube door dropped onto the hinges. And now the tube door will get secured using a washer and a nut that come in the hardware kit. Now, this is a step that isn't completely necessary if you're going to be taking your doors on and off often switching between these and your factory doors, you can skip this step. However, it's a good idea if you are going to have your doors on for a longer period of time, this is going to keep things a little bit more secure and keep things as rattle-free as possible. Now we can bolt the latch on to the door. There is going to be a left latch and a right latch, so make sure you grab the right one. It is going to have to be oriented in a specific way and installed on the right side of this tab here, so, make sure you take a look at the instructions, that'll make it really, really clear. But essentially what you want is the latching mechanism toward the top, and you want the flat spot, the mounting point on that latch to be on the back side of the mounting tab on the door itself. In order to get that attached, you're gonna use some of the hardware that's included. You wanna leave the hardware for the latch a little bit loose, so that you can slide the latch up and down, but it stays in whatever position you put it in, you don't wanna really crank down on those just yet. This does have some slotted holes, this is adjustable, because every jeep is just gonna be a little bit different out of the factory, and this allows for adjustability to ensure that the door is going to open and close really smoothly. So what we'll do now is close the door to ensure that the latch is lined up, and then tighten down the nut and bolt hardware. Now that the latch is tightened down, you can test the door a couple of times to make sure that everything lines up nicely. That looks good. Now, the last step is going to be attaching this limit strap. As with your factory doors, front doors, back doors, you always wanna have a limit strap attached, if not, this door can swing all the way open and cause damage to the rest of the body. So, once you have your strap installed and all of your hardware tightened down, it's as simple as repeating the process to finish up the other door.
