Description
Provides Boosts in Horsepower and Torque. Your reliable Toyota Tundra will be even more capable with the help of this Airaid Cold Air Dam Intake With Red SynthaMax Dry Filter. It features an open airflow design, which allows your engine to take in bigger amounts of cool and clean air. This results in significant boosts in horsepower and torque. Moreover, the improved airflow also enhances throttle response and fuel efficiency. Finally, the Cold Air Dams help stop the hot engine bay air from circulating.
No Need for After-Installation Tuning. This cold air intake will work perfectly with the factory tune of your truck. However, it’s still recommended to have a custom tune to reprogram the ECU. This is to ensure that the cold air intake, and all other upgrades, will deliver the best possible output.
SynthaMax Oil-Free Synthetic Air Filter. For superior filtration, this cold air intake uses a red Airaid SynthaMax dry synthetic air filter. This oil-free filter has a 360-degree conical shape, which is less restrictive than paper filters and thus facilitates better, cooler, and cleaner airflow. In addition, this dry synthetic filter is washable and reusable so you can save more time and money on maintenance and replacements.
High-Density Polyethylene Inlet Tube. Airaid used high-density polyethylene (HDPE) to construct the inlet tube of this intake system. HDPE is known for its high strength-to-density ratio, as well as its excellent heat resistance of up to 248°F. What’s even better is that because it’s plastic, you don’t have to worry about corrosion at all. The inlet tube is also protected by Cold Air Dam panels that block the hot engine bay air and help deliver a constant stream of cool, clean air.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. This cold air intake system doesn’t need any cutting, drilling, or welding, and is designed as a direct replacement for the factory intake. All you will need are basic hand tools and the enclosed mounting hardware. Installation can take about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your prior experience.

Doesn’t Have a CARB Certificate. This air intake system does not have a CARB certification. This means that it isn’t legal for sale or use in California and any other state that adopts California’s emission procedures.
