With this oil filter, you can count on optimal airflow and top-notch engine protection. In addition, this oil filter features an anti-backflow valve that helps prevent wear and tear that can be caused by cold starts. When your truck’s heavy-duty engine receives its fill of cool and clean air, then you can depend on its excellent performance all the time.
NF21 Synthetic Media. AFE used their own NF21 full synthetic composite media for this oil filter. This material ensures not just the optimized flow of air, but also of the oil. This way, the engine can achieve the required compression levels and tolerances with ease. The filter material is housed in a canister with a 600-pound of burst strength rating, with a heavy-duty coil spring to boost strength. It also comes with nitrile rubber gaskets to ensure a complete seal.
Hassle-Free Installation. This oil filter is designed as a direct replacement so all you have to do is remove the old filter and put in this new one. This can be done in under an hour. This oil filter has a 1-inch outside and 3/8-inch inside nut/ratchet drive fitting on top of the canister, which allows easy removal for future replacements.
