No Recalibration Required. AFE designed this Momentum HD Cold Air Intake to operate using the stock tune without the need to reprogram your truck’s computer. It also works perfectly well with enhanced tuning so that you can experience the best possible performance from this upgrade.
High-Quality Pro DRY S Filter. This Momentum HD Cold Air Intake kit provides a cooler air charge with the help of the Pro DRY S Filter featuring 3-layered, oil-free synthetic media with remarkable filtration capacity. It also features an 8-inch tall, pleated configuration, durable enough to endure multiple cleaning cycles. The high-flow, 360-degree design enables optimum airflow and high filtration capacity. Additionally, this configuration significantly increases the available air volume for maximum airflow that generates additional power.
Tough and Reliable. The high-strength, 1-piece, cross-linked polyethylene housing protects the filter and blocks the performance-robbing engine heat to make this Momentum HD Cold Air Intake function efficiently. It comes with a clear sight window that allows for easy viewing of the air filter. Moreover, the intake tube features a high-flow design to maximize airflow volume and speed for optimum power gains. It is also equipped with a soft EPDM hood seal to keep the hot engine air out and create a perfect seal to the hood.
