Hey, what's up, guys. Ryan here from ExtremeTerrain. Today I'm here with the ZAutomotive Tazer JL Lite programmer fitting your 2018 and up Jeep Wrangler JL. Now, this is gonna be for those of you that either plan on or have already modded their Wrangler and they're just looking for some adjustability with an easy to use programmer. Now, after upgrading your Wrangler, it's necessary to adjust your vehicle's computer settings for proper operation and performance so you can enjoy the full benefits of those modifications. Now, like I said, this thing has a ton of functionality and a few of those options are TPMS allowing you to enable or disable and as well as tire changes, tire size changes, axle ratios as well as that low transfer case. And all this allows you to adjust your speedometer to accommodate for all those changes. And with this you also get a light show, you get six presets for the light shows, each one different than the other, you also get a cooldown and a winch mode. The cooldown mode is gonna allow you to turn the fan on with the vehicle off and the winch mode is going to raise RPMs for when your winching. Now, currently this is right around $220 which I think this is a great option to go with because it has a ton of functionality and it's gonna do those functions that you needed to do. Now, as far as installation goes, I'm gonna give this a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter as you can get this installed in just a few minutes. Now, with that being said, let's hop into the install. Installation is gonna be relatively simple, we do need to get under the dash because we have a bypass block that we need to plug into our OBD-II diagnostic plug. So, we'll need to crawl under there, take a panel off and then we'll need to unplug this plug so we can plug this new bypass in. So, let's get under there and get started. So, the panel that we need to remove is right below our steering wheel, it's gonna be this panel right here. You're gonna have three clips on both sides, six total. All you need to do is just firmly pull this out and that whole panel will separate. Just like that. After we get this panel out, we can set it aside, reach up in here and get that plug unplugged. So, next thing we're gonna do is install our bypass plug. Now, this is this little plug right here and that is going to install in both of those plugs that we unplugged which are the diagnostic for the OBD-II. So, we're gonna reach over there, we're gonna plug these in. These are both a different size, so you really can't mix them up. And then after that, we can put that back up into the dash and zip tie it in place. So, we're gonna go underneath of the dash. As you can see above the OBD-II port right here, we're gonna have a plug up here, on the back of this plug you're gonna have two black tabs that we need to press in. So, we're gonna press in on those, pull down on the wiring harness and get this plug unplugged. So, the next we're gonna do is plug this thing in. Now, both of these plugs, they are two different sizes and they only fit in one way. So, we're just gonna press them in till they click. And you see that thing is gonna flash right there, that means it's working, it's powering on. So, we're gonna shovel back up in there, you can zip tie it in place and then we'll slap this panel back on. So, now that we have it plugged in, the next thing we're gonna do is turn it on to the run position. So, foot off of the brake, you're gonna press the start button once, it's gonna go to accessory. Again, it's gonna go to run and then we're gonna wait for this screen to power up. Once the screen powers up, we'll use our directional pad over on the left side of the steering wheel to go up to Audio. So, after you get to Audio you'll press left on the directional pad, that's gonna get you into that system. Then we're gonna hold down left and we're gonna press the cancel button for our cruise control. This is gonna allow us to access the Tazer and cycle through the options. So, we have light show, clear check engine lights, marry. So, marry is what we want. Once you get to Marry, you're gonna keep holding the left arrow and we're gonna press the cruise control button. So, now what it's gonna do is it's gonna marry the device, you can see there's a countdown and that's going to marry it to our vehicle that way we can access the menu and change some of the parameters. Now to cycle through these menus, you're gonna hold down that left arrow and you're gonna press cancel to cycle through. Performance is going to be tire and axle changes. TPMS, you can disable the TPMS or you can set the PSI if you're running a mud terrain that's gonna run lower PSI. And then we have a light show. There's a light show option, there's about six presets. The clear check engine lights which is a nice feature. Unmarry the device. There's performance for tire changes, axle ratios, low gear range, and as well as adjusting the PSI. So, I'm not gonna go too in-depth with the features of this device of showing you every in and out. However, I'm gonna show you how to exactly use these buttons and choose some options. And lets go into performance. So, performance, to access that, you're going to press the set button for the cruise control. Now, you can see there's tire size, 32-inch tires. If you were to go with a 35 or a 37, you wanna change it to a taller tire size, you would press the up for the cruise control and that's gonna allow you to change it up to a 41-inch tire. So, then if you wanted to set that, you would just press the set button, that cruise control option. Again, if you wanted to lower it back down, you press the negative set reduce, and then if you wanna go back, you press reset. That's gonna wrap up my review and install.
