This tonneau cover features a proprietary X-Effect infrastructure, a bracing system that levels-up the cover’s structural integrity. This results in a truck bed lid that is impervious to not just harsh weather, but physical damage. This tonneau cover opens and closes easily via gas-charged prop struts, and can easily be removed enabling full access to your truck bed. Lastly, this truck bed cover comes with a built-in battery-powered LED light that illuminates your truck bed for easy retrieval of its contents.
Rugged Build Quality. The UnderCover SE Black Textured Hinged Tonneau Cover is constructed from high-grade ABS plastic composite for strength without the added weight. This hard cover’s mounting brackets are manufactured from high-grade aluminum alloy for durability. Finally, this tonneau features a black textured finish that’s similar to the appearance of your truck’s bed rails, for a uniform look.
Direct Install Procedure. The UnderCover SE Black Textured Hinged Tonneau Cover installs directly onto your truck bed rails using the included mounting brackets. These mounting brackets install without the need for drilling or modification of your truck bed. However, if your truck bed is equipped with a plastic bedliner, this may get in the way of mounting the brackets and may need to be trimmed. Other than this potential step, installation requires just standard hand tools.
Covered by a 3-Year Limited Cover and 1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty. The UnderCover SE Black Textured Hinged Tonneau Cover is covered by a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects to its cover, and a 1-year warranty for its mounting hardware and struts.
