For a heavy-duty axle that lasts longer and supports heavier weights, it’s best to upgrade with this Teraflex Front Tera44 Axle Housing with 4.88 Gears & OEM Locker for 0-3-Inch Lift. You can use this either to replace a worn-down or broken front axle or to give the OEM axle with a robust upgrade. In addition, this axle housing comes with an OEM Rubicon locker to help you achieve the right amount of traction you need based on the driving conditions.
High-Quality Ductile Cast Iron Construction. This axle housing is made from heavy-duty ductile cast iron for extreme strength, so you can carry heavier loads without worry. It also features integrated lower flexarm skid plates and a smooth radius bottom, which adds protection and allows you to smoothly drive over obstacles. Finally, this axle housing sports a triple-stage powder coating. This boosts the iron’s durability and also makes it resistant to rust and corrosion.
No-Cut, No-Weld Installation. Teraflex engineered this axle housing for a direct, bolt-on installation with no need for any modifications on your Jeep. For the best results, it’s ideal to have a professional perform the installation. The process can be finished in about 6 hours.
