Description
Precise Damping for Maximum Handling. Provide your 2 to 4.50-inch lifted Wrangler JL with precise damping with the Teraflex Falcon SP2 3.1 Piggyback Front and Rear Shocks for 2 to 4.50-Inch Lift. These front and rear shocks combine a monotube design with piggyback reservoirs to give you an instantaneous damping response that’s less likely to fade. This translates to accurate handling performance when driven off-road and a firm but smooth ride on the highway.
Specialized Mode Adjust Technology. These shocks also come with the unique, specialized Mode Adjust technology. This technology works by allowing you to adjust the shocks’ damping simply by twisting the piston rods clockwise or counterclockwise. Specifically, twisting the piston rods clockwise provides the shocks with a softer ride, while a counterclockwise turn makes them stiffer. This way, you get the exact damping performance you need for the terrain you’re on.
High-Strength Build Quality. These shock absorbers’ shock bodies are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy to take advantage of the metal’s ideal strength to weight ratio. This aluminum build also offers effective heat dissipation, helping prevent fade. The shocks’ 0.75-inch piston rods for their part are machine-formed from chrome-hardened alloy, making them tough enough to take the knocks of regular off-roading. Similarly, the rear shocks feature durable metal roost guards for extra protection when going off-road. Rounding out their construction is a gray hard anodized finish for exceptional corrosion protection.
Simple Install Procedure. These front and rear shocks are designed to install in factory locations on your Jeep. No additional drilling or other modifications are needed although you may have to cut out a small portion of the fender liners to achieve a proper fit. Moreover, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
Comes with a Limited 3-Year Warranty. These Teraflex Falcon series front and rear shocks come with a limited 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
