Description
Advanced Damping for All-Around Driving. Whether you’re a die-hard off-road enthusiast or a casual daily commuter, your lifted Gladiator can use the Teraflex Falcon SP2 3.5 aDAPT Piggyback Front and Rear Shocks for 3.50 to 4.50-Inch Lift. These front and rear shocks are engineered to give you superior damping performance and exceptional handling feel for all your driving adventures whether on or off-road. This is accomplished by the shocks’ monotube piggyback style which gives you a faster damping response and more accurate handling. More significantly, these front and rear dampers are equipped with an advanced electronic adjustment system that allows complete control of their damping performance.
Innovative Damping Control. At the heart of these shocks’ performance capabilities is their innovative aDAPT electronic damping technology. This technology consists of a control module that’s controlled via Bluetooth, a downloadable smartphone app, and an interior switch. This setup enables you to control the shocks’ damping from the comfort of your driver seat. Likewise, this system allows you to choose between soft, firm, and Auto modes to give you the correct damping performance for your application. What’s more, this system’s Auto mode automatically shifts damping performance from soft to firm, allowing greater control for constantly shifting terrain conditions. These factors make this system ideal for just about any driving situation you could think of.
Resilient Build Quality. These shock absorbers’ bodies are precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy for superior durability, corrosion resistance, and efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, their 0.75-inch piston shafts are similarly machined from chrome-hardened steel for maximum strength. Meanwhile, the aDAPT module features a rugged automotive-grade plastic housing, offering resistance to vibrations and cracking over time. Finally, these shocks are anodized in gray for style and corrosion protection.
Direct Install Procedure. These shocks are installed directly into factory locations in your Jeep. No modifications are necessary although you may have to trim your fender liners to accommodate the piggyback reservoirs. Also, you will need to perform some wiring work to connect the aDAPT module to your electrical system.
