If you’re experiencing difficulty handling the vehicle, particularly turning, the axles may need to be replaced. This Dorman Pre-Pressed Rear Axle meets the strict original vehicle manufacturer quality standards, ensuring easy handling and outstanding performance of your truck.

      Carbon Steel Construction. This rear axle is made from heavy-duty carbon steel by Dorman in the U.S. It’s built to handle extreme weather conditions and heavy loads, guaranteeing the smooth operation of your Tacoma at all times. The axle has 30 inboard and 30 outboard splines and a semi-floating case design. An ABS tone ring is included in the set.

      Professional Installation Recommended. The rear axle replacement requires lifting the vehicle and must only be performed by professionals for safety reasons. The installation hardware is not included in the set, but the part is compatible with the factory hardware.

      Limited Lifetime Warranty. This rear axle shaft was made by the leading U.S. replacement part manufacturer Dorman and backed by a limited lifetime warranty. The warranty only applies to axles installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and covers workmanship and material defects. Please note that the manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by misuse or inadequate installation.

      Application. This Pre-Pressed Rear Axle; Driver Side; 6-Bolt Pattern fits 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma models.

      Installation Difficulty. The rear axle replacement requires advanced mechanical skills and special equipment for jacking up the vehicle. It takes 4-5 hours on average for a professional installation.
