When considering a rearview mirror upgrade, this FullVUE Rear Camera Mirror System is the perfect solution. This system combines a rear camera and a camera mirror that looks like a standard rearview mirror but functions as a video monitor. Together, these elements provide you with rearward visibility that’s more detailed when compared to a standard mirror. What’s more, this system is fully self-contained, eliminating the need to upgrade to a touch screen infotainment unit. And when you need a regular mirror, this device can be reverted to a standard rearview mirror with the touch of its controls.
Cutting-Edge Design. This system consists of a 1080p resolution rear camera and a cutting-edge camera mirror that looks like a regular rearview mirror but works just like an HD touchscreen monitor. The camera mirror component provides a 1,980 x 320 high-resolution display rearward image with a 170-degree horizontal field of view. This translates to a clear picture of your rear end with virtually no blind spots. At the same time, the camera mirror’s scrolling function lets you modify the camera’s viewing angle, giving you 150 degrees of vertical viewing. Lastly, the camera mirror also includes an integrated 1080p front-facing recording camera with a G-shock sensor. This front camera system is designed to automatically record once it registers an impact, giving you extra security in case of an accident.
Brawny Build Quality. The included camera mirror is equipped with a high-impact tempered glass screen, offering reliable performance. Meanwhile, its housing features a molded automotive grade plastic construction, making it exceptionally durable. The screen and housing are then completely sealed, giving you a clean OE-grade look.
Practical Install Procedure. Installing this camera mirror system is a fairly practical procedure that will not require any modifications to your vehicle. However, you will need to do some wiring work to properly connect this system with your truck’s electronics. Also, the installation will require standard hand tools but a voltmeter may be needed. Please note that this system will only work with the included rear camera.
