Description
Tough Construction. The Rubicon Express Automatic Transmission Skid Plate will protect your Jeep's vulnerably undercarriage, which holds the oil pan, fuel tank and transfer case. This plate is carefully crafted from precision CNC laser cut 3/16-inch steel and powdercoated in a sleek, durable black finish for added styling. It is designed to mount tightly up to the drivetrain to maximize ground clearance. This plate will fit both 2- and 4-door models.
Ride Quality. Not only does this skid plate protect your Jeep's automatic transmission, but is also improves the overall ride as well. With this product, you will experience better slide over terrain and reduced obstacle hangups for all your offroad adventures.
Intermediate Install. This product is categorized as having a moderate level of difficulty and requires some level of mechanical skill to install. This skid plate uses your Wrangler's existing hardware and fasteners. There is no need for any cutting of modifications. Total install time is estimated at around 2 hours.
