This cold air intake is engineered to provide your Wrangler TJ with improvements in performance you can feel. This is accomplished by providing large quantities of cold clean are into your engine to ensure complete fuel combustion. Moreover, its included premium reusable air filter helps keeps your engine protected from contaminants.
No ECU Re-Tuning Necessary. This cold air intake’s performance gains are courtesy of a combination of its free-flowing air intake tube and high-flow air filter. No ECU re-tuning is needed. However, re-tuning your ECU down the line can certainly help improve performance further by optimizing your vehicle with the cold air intake.
Reusable Premium Air Filter with Pre-Filter Bag. This cold air intake includes a premium air filter designed to provide exceptional filtration while still allowing maximum airflow. Additionally, this filter can be easily cleaned making it an economical alternative to regular filter replacement. A specialized silicone treated polyester fabric pre-filter bag is also included, which is designed to filter out larger contaminants as well as moisture. By doing so, this pre-filter helps improve filtration while also extending the life of the main filter.
Robust Build Quality. This cold air intake’s air intake tube is machine-formed from high-quality alloy to create a component with a turbulence-free inner structure for maximum airflow. Moreover, a machine-formed alloy heat shield keeps the air filter isolated from damaging engine bay heat to help extend its service life. Lastly, the intake tube and heat shield receive a tough black powder coat finish providing excellent corrosion protection and a sleek under-the-hood style.
Practical Installation. Installing this cold air intake is a practical procedure as it’s designed to use your Jeep’s factory air system locations as its mounting area. No drilling or other modifications are necessary. What’s more, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete and all mounting hardware is included.
