Professional Trailer Hitch. With Reese Towpower’s Tacoma Professional Class IV Trailer Hitch, you get a square tube hitch that’s capable of transporting heavy weight. The hitch has a 2-Inch receiver and attaches to the rear of your vehicle. Its weight carrying capacity is 7,000 Pounds, with the tongue weight capacity topping out at 1,050 Pounds. You can increase these capacities to 8,000 Pounds and 1,200 Pounds, respectively, with the use of a weight distribution system.

Powerful Construction. Made using solid steel, the Tacoma Professional Class IV Trailer Hitch is built to ensure you can tow trailers safely. Reese Towpower designed the hitch using computer-aided technology before putting it through strenuous fatigue testing to ensure it lives up to its Class IV classification. The hitch is also coated with black Metal Shield paint, which protects the steel from corrosion.

Direct Installation. The Tacoma Professional Class IV Trailer Hitch comes with all of the mounting hardware you need to install without any hassle. No drilling or modifications are required to fit this part. Note that the hitch does not come with any ball mount hardware.

1-Year Warranty. Reese Towpower covers this trailer hitch with a limited 1-year warranty that covers you in cases of material defects or issues with craftsmanship. This is a limited warranty, and some exclusions apply.

Application. The Tacoma Professional Class IV Trailer Hitch is manufactured to fit Toyota Tacoma vehicles made between 2016-2023. It is compatible with trailers that fit its 2-Inch receiver.

Installation Difficulty. Some minor tool work places installation at between the beginner and intermediate mechanical skills levels. The part should take about 1 hour to fit.
