Hey guys, it's Sara with extremeterrain.com. And today we have a review and install of the TruShield Neoprene Front and Rear Seat Covers in black, fitting your '11 to '12 Jeep Wrangler JK two-door. These are perfect for the JK owner who wants to protect their seats from wear and tear or just cover up some worn out seats and wants a seat cover option with an OE appearance. These covers protect your seats from excessive wear and tear from daily driving, off-roading or even just sun exposure. They are constructed from four layers of material with foam-backed padding for maximum comfort and feature a UV-treated weather resistant neoprene shell. This kit features front and rear seat covers as well as covers for the headrests for complete coverage and also feature reinforced seams for extra durability. So as far as price goes, this kit comes in at around $200 which is middle of the road price wise when compared to other options, and for your money, this is a full kit for the front and rear of your Jeep that molds to your seats for that low key OE appearance. And as far as the install goes, I'm giving this one a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. It doesn't require any tools for installation and can be done within 30 minutes. So with that said, let's check out the install. All right. So the first step in our install is to remove the headrest off of our driver seat. Pressing in on both the tabs, raise it up and remove the headrest. Now we can grab the top part of our seat cover and slide it over top of the seat. Now we wanna make sure we have the one that has the Velcro opening facing outwards. This will be the driver side and it's meant to go right around this handle here. Once the seat cover is in place, grab the felt piece. We're gonna tuck it through the seat. Reaching underneath your seat, pull out the felt piece that you tucked in. Pull it up like this and then it's gonna Velcro to your seat cover. And finally, zipper down the side. Now we can install the bottom portion of your seat cover. This one is the driver side and we can tell because it has an opening right here for this lever right there. We're gonna start by lining that up, going around the end of the lever, and then we'll work the rest of the cover in place. In the corner there's a strap that's gonna go under and hook in place. Next up we're gonna tuck these two buckles into the opening of the seat. Pull the buckle through your seat, run the strap along the bottom of the seat and hook them together, and then tighten them down. Locate your other one and repeat that process. At this point we can install the headrest covers. All you do is slide them over top. Then once they're in place, tuck the Velcro back and secure it and tuck each of these flaps around the side and secure them as well. Reinstall the headrest, line it up in the two openings in the top of the seat, and slide it down. Now that your driver seat is installed, repeat all those steps to install the passenger seat cover. At this point we can move on to our rears, again, starting with removing the headrests. Next up, we can put the top part of the seat cover over top of the entire seat. With the cover in place, you can grab the felts and just like the front, tuck it through. As you're tucking, make sure you pull out the seat belts and go around them. Now that we're at the back of the seat, you do need to take the strap that's behind and tuck it through this opening in your seat cover. Now we can move to the bottom. Pull out all the felt through your seat, tuck it up, and pull the Velcro down and secure it in place. This point you can install the bottom part of your seat cover. Lay it over top. Make sure you're pulling your belt buckles through. Tuck it around the edges. Tuck the other buckles through the seat. Make sure it's tucked around the other side as well. Pull out the buckles through your seat. We currently have our seat in the air a bit to show you a better view. You do not have to unclip it to do this. Pull your strap out from under your seat cover, clip it in place, and tighten it down. Repeat that for the rest of these straps. Now we can install the headrests for the rear seat the same way as the front seats. Now you can reinstall the headrest in the top of your seat. All right. So that is gonna do it for the review and install of these seat covers. And remember, for all things Jeep, keep it at extremeterrain.com.
