      Description

      Specs. Certain Wrangler brake drums are supported by a pair of springs, in order to keep them even and well-balanced. The Omix-ADA Drum Brake Shoe Equalizer Spring substitutes for these, and is useful when repairing or rebuilding your Jeep brakes. It replaces part number 4713079 among stock parts, and is made out of steel with a brass coating.

      Construction. The Omix-ADA Drum Brake Shoe Equalizer Spring is, like many components made by the company, a direct-fit OEM replacement part. Sold individually, it is fabricated for installation with 9 inch drums. Matching all stock parameters very closely, this spring is protected by a 5 year limited warranty and assists in keeping the equalizer on an even keel and firmly in place.

      Application. Fits 1990 - 2000 Wrangler YJ and TJ models.
