Mating surfaces are CNC triple lapped to ensure ideal fitment with the correct backlash and clearance for optimal performance. Furthermore, gears undergo the Rockwell test to make sure it’s hard enough to withstand the demands of on and off-road use.
Computer Recalibration Recommended. Speedometer readings after any gear ratio change will be compromised. Correct it with a recalibrating device or tuner after the differential installation.

Technical Note. Jeep Wranglers with 4x4s need identical or close to identical front and rear gear ratios. Using your 4WD with mismatched gear ratios may result in serious damages to your drivetrain components such as the transmission, driveshaft, and axles.
