This assembly features the main skid plate and mounting arms made from high-quality plate steel with different thicknesses. This design translates to better absorption of impact forces, ensuring your transmission and oil pan remain damage-free even through the most aggressive of rock trails. What’s more, this combo oil pan and transmission skid plate include built-in access for draining your oil. This feature eliminates the need to disassemble the skid plate if you have to change your oil when out on the trails.
Rugged Build Quality. This combo skid plate’s main section is machine-formed from 0.187-inch plate steel for superior rigidity. Likewise, its mounting arms are also machine-formed from 0.25-inch plate steel, offering maximum strength. Finally, this assembly is finished in a wear-resistant black powder coating, giving your Jeep a menacing underchassis style.
Practical Install Procedure. Installing this skid plate is a fairly practical process that utilizes factory locations on your Wrangler as its mounting area. Minor drilling to the skid is needed to achieve a proper fit. Moreover, installation is completed using just standard hand tools and the included hardware.
