Moon Unit is an expedition grade all-in-one shelter system for both vehicle tailgating and for tent camping, delivering 80 square feet of living and gear storage space. The versatile design both connects to large SUV, trucks with lifts and toppers, campers and tear drops, and operates as a fully enclosed privacy shelter to store and protect your gear while away from the campsite. Moon Unit’s modular design is highly adaptive for changing climate conditions and logistical needs, with a spacious interior ideal for uses from outdoor events to group camping in the rugged outdoors. As weather changes, simply add or remove modular door panels to layer up or layer down. For an amiable living environment in the hot sun and winds, Moon Unit uses a high strength 185 denier polyester ripstop outdoor UV 50 rated material that is breathable and reflective with a 98 percent opacity for a cooler interior. Three modular door panel styles include a large zippered panel with screened window and a doorway entry panel with screened windows for convenience and great ventilation, and an interchangeable tailgate vehicle stretch connector with clipped straps for attachment to vehicle entries. A modular floor is included for traditional tent camping use in a 10ft. wide by 8ft. deep footprint and 88in. tall for plenty of room for living shelter. The aerodynamic arc shape provides enhanced wind stability once setup, staked, and entry doors zipped closed.
