Description
Replacement Filter. Your K&N cold air intake features a washable, reusable high flow red filter for superior filtration. In the event your filter is out of warranty or damaged accidentally when you're under the hood, you won't be hard pressed to find the perfect fitting replacement with the same chrome top for the stylish looks you're used to. This is the exact filter contained in K&N's 57 series fuel injected performance kit for your TJ.
Premium Construction. K&N Air Filters are made up of layers of specially treated cotton gauze that are sandwiched between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens for durability. K&N uses a specially formulated grade of oil to treat the cotton gauze layers which causes a tackiness throughout the cotton's microscopic strands creating a powerful filtering media that ensures engine protection. This filter is backed by a one year limited warranty for the most in reliability.
Application. This K&N Replacement Cold Air Intake Filter is specifically designed to replace filters found on K&N 57-1514-1 cold air intakes installed on 1997-2006 4.0L Wrangler TJ models and will not fit stock applications.
Technical Note. The K&N Cold Air Intake is not designed for vehicles equipped with a Body Lift.
