      Description

      Maximized Sound. When upgrading your Wrangler JK’s pillar post speakers, you could just get a more expensive pair, or you could get these Pillar-Pods with Kicker 4-Inch Speakers. This kit upgrades both your pillar speakers and their enclosures, giving you a more ideal acoustic setup. Specifically, this kit is designed to replace your stock enclosures with larger pillar pods that are designed to reflect sound generated by the included speakers more efficiently. The result is significantly more realistic sound quality coming from the included Kicker 4-inch coaxial speakers. This way, you get to hear your favorite music exactly as it’s supposed to sound.

      High-Quality Kicker Speakers. The speakers that come with this kit are a pair of 4-inch Kicker coaxial speakers. These speakers utilize a 4-inch wide polypropylene woofer and a 0.5-inch PEI tweeter, both of which reproduce sound much more realistically than your current setup. The polypropylene and PEI construction also has the added benefit of being highly resistant to warping and deterioration due to moisture. Additionally, these speakers offer an RMS power rating of 25 watts and a peak power rating of 50 watts with an impedance of 4 ohms. What this means is that these components are powerful enough to be played loud. More significantly, these coaxials are engineered to run on your Jeep’s stock amplifier but are capable of handling a higher rated amplifier. As such, you don’t have to replace these speakers when upgrading to a more powerful sound system.

      Robust Build Quality. The pillar pod enclosures are constructed from high-grade ABS plastic, making them quite durable and extremely resistant to temperature changes. Moreover, these enclosures are injection-molded to exact specifications for a great fit when installed. Likewise, these enclosures come with a polyfill material that works to dampen vibration, further improving sound quality. Rounding out their construction is a black look to match the style of your interiors.

      Efficient Install Procedure. These pillar-pods are designed to replace your stock speakers found at the corner of your dashboard, near the windshield pillars. Minor drilling is required to mount these pods onto the plastic pillar trim panels. Additionally, this kit includes a pair of pigtails that will connect the Kicker speakers to the factory speaker harness.

      Application. The Pillar-Pods with Kicker 4-Inch Speakers fit all 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models with the Alpine or Infinity sound systems.
