Description

For this purpose, you need this Liftgate Seal and Trim. This seal and trim piece is designed to OE specifications, making it a perfect match to your Wrangler TJ’s worn-out factory counterpart for a hassle-free installation. Moreover, this component is built tough to provide excellent performance for many miles of driving.
Tough Build Quality. This liftgate seal is constructed from a specially formulated rubber compound, offering exceptional durability and resistance to UV rays and ozone. Additionally, this seal and trim piece is molded to factory specifications for an OEM fit and finish. Finally, this component is available in black to match the factory look of your interior.
No-Frills Installation. This seal and trim piece is designed to install onto factory locations using glass adhesive in most applications. Before installation, it is suggested that you first clean the mounting area before wiping it down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol or acetone. This is to ensure the adhesive completely sticks to the mounting surface. Also, when installing this trim piece in the cold, it is advised that you first warm the mounting surface using a heat gun or hairdryer. This is because the adhesive works best on warm surfaces.
