Description
Ideal Liftgate Strut Replacement. Replace your liftgate support strut with this Hard Top Liftgate Support Strut. A worn-out support strut makes loading your Wrangler’s cargo area rather tedious since you have to deal with the liftgate constantly drooping on you. This liftgate support strut measures 24 inches fully extended and will restore your liftgate’s proper function. This way you don’t have to use something like a wooden pole or your jack handle to prop the liftgate open as you’re loading your cargo area.
Tough Build Quality. This liftgate support strut’s body and piston rod is made from high-grade alloy offering maximum strength. Likewise, this strut is machine-formed to exact specifications for an accurate fit when installed. The strut body is then powder coated in black for corrosion protection. Finally, the piston rod is finished in hard chrome providing smooth operation.
Easy Install Procedure. This liftgate support strut is designed to replace your Jeep’s factory counterpart without the need for modifications. Also, minimal tools are needed for installation.
Application. This Hard Top Liftgate Support Strut fits all 1987 to 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ models.
Application Notes. It is recommended you replace both struts at the same time for ideal performance.
