This hood protector is designed to follow the contours of your Jeep’s hood, giving it a style that looks like it’s in motion even when standing still. More importantly, this hood guard’s rigid build means it’s more than capable of deflecting flying pebbles, insects, and other similar road and trail hazards, keeping your hood damage-free.
Rigid Build Quality. This hood protector is manufactured from a specialized TPO plastic, offering exceptional durability while remaining light in weight. This material is then precision-molded to exact specifications for a clean and consistent fit and finish. Rounding out its construction is a textured black finish, providing its distinct sleek style.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. This Aeroskin II Hood Protector comes preinstalled with automotive-grade, double-sided adhesive tape, making its installation a hassle-free peel-and-stick procedure. Before installation, the mounting surfaces should first be thoroughly cleaned and dried before wiping down with the included alcohol pads. This is to maximize the adhesion of the tape to your vehicle. Additionally, when mounting this component in cold weather, first warm-up the mounting surfaces as the adhesive tape works best in temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be done using a hairdryer or heat gun.
Application. This Aeroskin II Textured Black Hood Protector fits all 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler JL models.
Application Notes. Please do not drive your Jeep for 24 hours, and do not wash for 72 hours after installation. This is to give time for the adhesive to completely set.
