Description
Back to Factory Standards. If you’re finding it harder to change gears when you’re driving, you may have a problem with your clutch. Happily, you may not need to replace the entire clutch assembly. Sometimes, replacing your clutch disc will get everything back in working order. Thanks to Crown Automotive, you can do just that with the Jeep Wrangler Clutch Kit. Designed as a direct replacement part for your stock disc, this disc can get you up and running again in no time.
Pressure Plate Included. The kit comes with a replacement pressure plate, which you can keep as a spare if you don’t yet require it. This plate clamps down on your clutch disc whenever you’re changing gears or otherwise engaging your clutch.
Solid Steel Construction. Crown Automotive uses tough steel for all of the components in this kit. Your clutch disc and pressure plate arrive unpainted, giving you the option of applying a protective finish.
Bolt-On Installation. The Jeep Wrangler Clutch Kit uses your vehicle’s stock mounts for installation, meaning you don’t have to worry about messing around with new hardware. It also comes with an alignment tool to ensure your new clutch disc is positioned properly.
Enhanced Protection. Crown Automotive offers a warranty that covers this kit for either 1-year or 12,000 miles of driving. The manufacturer guarantees that both the clutch disc and pressure plate will be free of defects in workmanship or materials during these periods.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler Clutch Kit is designed for installation into the 2012-2018 models of the Jeep Wrangler that have 3.6-Liter engines.
Installation Difficulty. Professional guidance is recommended if you do not have advanced automotive skills. Fitting both the disc and plate takes between 4-6 hours.
