Description
Excellent Hood Catch Replacement. Your Wrangler’s hood catch’s rubber construction makes it less likely to scratch the finish on your hood. This same construction can also deteriorate over time causing hood flutter and allowing it to open slightly. This Black Hood Catch; Driver or Passenger Side Placement; Lower; without Bracket features an OE design to perfectly match your vehicle’s damaged factory counterpart. In doing so, this hood catch will eliminate these issues while also restoring your ride’s style.
Wear Resistant Build Quality. This hood catch assembly features a hold-down section made from specialty rubber, offering optimum resistance to deterioration and cracking. Furthermore, this hood catch’s base and clip are molded to factory specifications from high-quality automotive-grade plastic for an OE-grade fit and finish. In fact, this catch assembly comes in black to match the style of the factory original.
Convenient Installation. This hood catch assembly installs into preexisting locations on your Wrangler’s fender. No modifications to your ride are needed although it is suggested you first clean the mounting surface prior to installation. This is to prevent dust and debris from getting trapped and potentially scratching the finish. Please note though that this assembly does not include the hood catch attachment bracket and the factory bracket will be reused.
