The part is fabricated out of rugged shaped steel, and finished with a baked on black powder coated finish that gives it a slick look and creates an impervious barrier to rust and corrosion. This drill in channel is a 2 piece type and comes with all necessary screws and mounting hardware to attach it to the top of your Wrangler's windshield frame. It weighs 1 pound in total.
