Noah: Hey, it's Noah with ExtremeTerrain. Today, let's take a look at these Raxiom Axial Series Turn Signal Lights with the Old Glory for the 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Now, if you're looking to get some darker turn signal lights that have a serious proud American flair, then these are gonna be perfect. It's not unusual to see some turn signal light upgrades that are smoked or LED or they're colored, but these are really cool. They actually have the old glory inside the lens. Now I was a little apprehensive towards these at first because I thought they'd be colored LEDs like the flag colors at first glance, but they're actually just amber LEDs behind a black stencil on the lens, and I think it's actually a really clean look, and I think it's very tasteful in the grand scheme of aftermarket lighting. Now, the flag is kind of discreet, and I like that. It's almost one of those details that you wouldn't notice until you're up close at a car show or something like that and I really think it's all in the details and that's what makes it count. And these are sold as a set of two so you're covered for both sides with one purchase. As far as construction goes, these are pretty basic. The housings are black ABS, so they'll be heat resistant, as well as really hard. Those lenses are actually smoked polycarbonate, so they'll look dark when the lights are off, and the old glory in there reveals itself when you flick the lights on or use your turn signals. They're also impact-resistant and they're designed to be plug-and-play, and overall, they're just gonna be a really solid build. As far as pricing goes, these guys are gonna fall around $90, which I think is a really great spot for a set of sweet upgraded turn signal lights to fall at. Now, that's within, like, the Christmas and birthday gift money range, and I think that any upgraded light like this is a great buy, especially under 100 bucks. You're in for an install difficulty of one out of three wrenches and an hour for the time to get these guys put in place. Now, luckily, these turn signal lights on your Jeep are really easy to drop in, so it should be a great install for even beginners and DIYers to get their feet wet with. Now, to show you how it's done, next up we've got an XT customer who's going to show you the install process more in-depth on their own Wrangler.Anthony: Hi, I'm Anthony. This is my 2011 Wrangler and I just ordered and received these Raxiom Old Glory Style Turn Signals. So today I'm going to show you how to remove the existing turn signals and then how to install these. Okay, so the first thing we need to do is to disconnect the electrical. And to do this, I am on the driver's side first. So on the underside, there's a red tab right here. You're going to pull it towards the outside of the vehicle, and then there's a button on the end and you're going to press that and then pull the electrical connection off. Now, that may have looked pretty easy, but the first time I did it, I really had to wriggle at it to get that free and then give it a good pull to get that off. So now that our electrical is done, I can tuck this out of the way. There we go.All right. So there are two tabs that hold the turn signal in place. And one is on the outside near the top here and the other is on towards the inside, right on the side. So what you want to do is get your finger and push that tab and push the whole fixture forward a little bit. And I like to do one at a time, so I did the inside one first, now I'll do the top. Pop that in, push the whole thing forward, and there we go. And our first turn signal is out.All right. So now we're on the passenger side and we're going to do the same thing. On the passenger side, the red tab and the button are both on top of the electrical connection, remove that, press the button, and pull that off. And again, we're going to do the same thing. Now, the tabs on this one, same place, one is on the top towards the outside, the other's on the inside, right on the side. We're going to push the plastic tab towards the inside of the vehicle and push out. And once you feel that one release, do the same thing to the top. Put that tab in, push the whole fixture forward, and now we've removed our passenger-side turn signal. All right, so with both turn signals removed, I just wanted to show you what these sockets look like and what the slots look like that those tabs go into because having this should make it a little easier for you to visualize and make it easier for you to remove the existing ones. Okay, so now we're ready to install our new Raxiom Old Glory Style Turn Signals. I've got here the one for the passenger side. I know this because the electrical connection is on the outside when the stars of a flag are in the top left. Also, your tabs will line up. So there's the one that goes towards the top and that's the one that goes towards the inside. And if you look at it this way, you can see those little tabs that you've been pressing on to get the old ones out. So now you wanna kind of turn this in. It makes it easier to line things up, get the electrical connection through the hole, feel it out for those slots, and then push in until you hear the click. All right, so now that our passenger side turn signal is back in place, we can reconnect the electrical. So you're going to slide this on to the connection. Again, you're going to hear a click when that button that you pressed to remove it snaps back into place. So you want to line that up and push it until you hear the click. And once you hear the click, you can take that red tab that's on top and push that back in and that will secure your electrical connection. All right, so now we're on the driver's side. We're ready to install the driver's side turn signal. Again, there's our slots that we're looking for and you want to get the stars aligned so that they're again at the top left. Your electrical connection is pointing towards the driver's side of the vehicle, and again we're going to turn that electrical connection through the hole, line up our slots, and push until it clicks. All right, and now the final step, we need to reattach the electrical to the driver's side turn signal. Before I do that, I just want to point out, so this is that red tab I've been talking about right now. It's in the out position. If I move that in, that's what the in position looks like. But in order to press this button here, which is used to release this connection, this needs to be in the outward position and now the button will move. So with that, we slide this on, we wait for the click. There it is. So our button is in place and now we can take this red tab and push that back in, and that finishes our driver's side install. All right, and with that, that concludes the installation of the Raxiom Old Glory Style Turn Signals. I hope you found this video useful, and good luck on your own install. As you may have noticed, I didn't really need any tools to do this. In fact, I didn't need any tools. The only thing I used was this flashlight just so that I could see what I was doing. So once again, thanks for watching, and good luck on your own install.Noah: Those were the Raxiom Axial Series Turn Signal Lights with the Old Glory for the 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK.
