Beef-Up your Jeep. Beef-up your Wrangler TJ’s undercarriage with the Artec Industries Triangulated 8.8 Axle Swap Kit with Truss. The Ford Explorer 8.8 rear axle offers various improvements over the Dana 35, including larger axle tubes and stronger 8.80-inch diameter ring gear. This rear axle swap kit lets you take advantage of these characteristics by allowing a full axle swap without the need for extensive modifications to your vehicle. With this kit, you also get all the brackets needed for mounting other suspension components, like shocks and coils.
Improved Handling and Performance. The Artec Industries Triangulated 8.8 Axle Swap Kit with Truss is designed to eliminate the need of a trackbar by triangulating your Jeep’s upper control arms. This design ensures your new 8.8 rear axle fits properly, as well as enabling improved handling whether on or off-road. This kit also improves your new 8.8 rear axle’s strength via its truss component, enabling you to navigate even the most aggressive off-road trails with ease. Please note that this kit won’t work with OEM control arms. New frame side brackets, upper links, and tire spacers are required, since the 8.8 axle is narrower than the Dana 35.
Rugged Precision Craftsmanship. The Artec Industries Triangulated 8.8 Axle Swap Kit is CNC-cut from high-grade mild steel for a precise fit. Built-in interlocking tabs make pre-assembly easier. Each component from the truss to the brackets measures 0.25 inches in thickness for superior rigidity. Lastly, all the pieces are left unfinished, letting you paint the assembly in a color of your choosing.
Professional Installation Recommended. Extensive welding and grinding is necessary for proper assembly and installation of the Artec Industries Triangulated 8.8 Axle Swap Kit with Truss. The whole assembly also needs to be painted once the truss has been installed onto your new rear axle. Consequently, professional installation is highly recommended.
