Description
Innovative Design. The Artec Industries 1 Ton Rear 14 Bolt Axle Disc Brake Conversion Kit is designed for use only with a newer style 14 bolt axle that has ribbing on the casting and utilizes factory drum brakes. It has an innovative design that effectively maintains the ABS with the 14 bolt swap.
Made to Last. The brackets are made from heavy-duty 3/8 inch thick mild steel that has been precision CNC cut and threaded. The brackets were designed to enhance braking capacity. Zinc plating is used to ensure corrosion resistance and augmented sensor reading. The 1/4 inch thick toe rings are made from CNC laser cut press steel. The mud guard is durable and made from 16 gauge CNC bent and laser cut steel. You will receive high-quality grade 8 mounting hardware.
Simple Installation. This brake conversion kit can be installed with general hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge. Some basic rewiring from the Front ABS sensor to the rear axle may be required.
Application. The Artec Industries 1 Ton Rear 14 Bolt Axle Disc Brake Conversion Kit is designed to fit all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. An optional tuner that has access to adjusting gear ratio and tire size may be required when using this conversion kit. Additionally, 2 rear JK ABS sensors may be required.
