Each cover is cast from premium nodular cast iron, an alloy featuring high strength, ductility, resistance to shock, wear, and corrosion, making it the ideal material for differential covers that are constantly subject to impacts. Additionally, this cover features a thick-walled design for additional rigidity and impact resistance.
Magnetic Drain Plug. Unlike your Jeep’s factory differential cover, this Artec cover features an integrated drain plug to make differential services a breeze. Instead of requiring complete removal of the differential cover and tedious scraping and reapplication of RTV sealant, Artec’s differential covers allow for quick and easy drain and refills. Additionally, the drain plug is magnetic to capture any metal shavings or clutch material suspended in the fluid, preventing additional wear.
