But what if when you weren't using them, they could just fold up so your Jeep's profile could be maintained? Well, that's what these AMP Research Powerstep XL Running Boards are for. With a high-traction top, a durable steel construction, and a stand-out finish, these automatic step boards are the perfect solution to keep your Wrangler looking as good as it possibly can.
Automatic Boards. These running boards have been supplied with a motor that folds it out when you come to a stop and activate it. That way, it protects your undercarriage while driving, as well as your bottom panels as you park. It's a simple way to keep your Wrangler's form sleek and uncluttered, ideal for off-roading.
Matte Black Finish. These running boards are given a matte black powder coat finish, to give a striking look on any finish of Wrangler. They also provide a way to protect against corrosion and scratching, so they keep looking great for years to come.
Durable Steel Construction. These running boards are built from heavy-duty steel tubing for maximum reliability and durability. The textured top allows for traction and security when you drop your foot down.
Installation. Some electrical expertise is required for installation, as well as some specialized tools which are necessary for installation. Mechanical expertise is recommended, and the install should take around 4 hours.
5-Year Limited Warranty. These running boards are protected by a 5-year/60,000-mile limited warranty. It protects you against defects in materials or workmanship for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. It's also non-transferable. Please see AMP Research's full warranty for more details.
