      I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Airaid PowerAid throttle body spacer, fitting all 1991 to 2006 Wranglers with the 4L engine. Today, we're going to talk through the installation of this throttle body spacer, which is a very simple one out of three-wrench install. This is something anyone can do in their driveway in less than a half an hour. But we'll talk more about the installation in a second. We're also going to talk through the construction and a few of the features of this throttle body spacer. A throttle body spacer is designed to spin the air going into the engine to allow more air in, giving you even more power. Now, the power increase that you're going to see from a throttle body spacer if you were to put the Jeep on a Dyno would be at the very top of the power band, where you don't spend a lot of time, and those gains probably wouldn't be all that significant. Now, if you are looking to squeeze every little bit out of your engine, a throttle body spacer is one way to gain a little bit of extra ground. However, I wouldn't expect it to make your Jeep feel like you just did a V8 swap. This is going to be a very minor amount of additional power that you're going to get by adding this throttle body spacer. This throttle body spacer is red anodized billet aluminum, and it has Airaid's patented Helix Bore construction on the inside. That's really the threading on the inside of the throttle body spacer that is designed to spin that air and get more air into the engine. This comes with all of the hardware, the gaskets, and the instructions that you need to get it installed. Getting into the installation a little bit further, this is a very simple one out of three-wrench install that shouldn't take you more than half an hour. All you need to do is remove the four bolts that are holding the throttle body onto the top of your intake manifold. Go ahead and slide a throttle body spacer in place, and use the included hardware to bolt everything back together. If you choose to, this is a really good time to clean all of these sensors, and clean out the throttle body itself, while you have it removed. This throttle body spacer comes in at a little over $90, and if you've already added some power mods to your Jeep, if you're looking to squeeze every little bit of power out of it, then this is going to be an option that will do that. However, if you're somebody who has a Wrangler with oversized tires on it and you have that sluggish feeling, I wouldn't go with the throttle body spacer right off the bat. Go ahead and regear the Jeep. That's going to give you that powerful feeling back. It's going to be significantly more expensive than a throttle body. But it will absolutely work. This is for those of you that have already done exhaust, intake, coils, every little thing that you can do to squeeze the most power out of your engine, and just want that little bit extra. So if you've already added a bunch of power mods onto your Wrangler and you're looking to squeeze every last drop of power out of your engine, adding a throttle body spacer is a way to do that. So that's my review of the Airaid PowerAid throttle body spacer, fitting all 1991 to 2006 Wranglers that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.
