It is engineered to exceed the engine's normal airflow requirement. Furthermore, thanks to AEM's DryFlow technology, cleaning is simple, hence, you never have to worry about over-oiling anymore. This air filter provides the best of all worlds: improved engine airflow, effective filtration for long engine life, and ease of maintenance.
Designed to Outperform. AEM DryFlow Air Filter is engineered to outperform oil-coated cotton gauze filters in terms of filtration efficiency and dust entrapment. It features an easy-to-clean synthetic filter media that, unlike cotton gauze-type filters, does not deteriorate when cleaned.
Light but Stronger. The AEM DryFlow Air Filter features a reinforced internal cage that is lighter and stronger than mesh kinds, a urethane body that will not shrink or fracture like plastisol-based goods, and an integrated velocity stack to improve airflow while increasing the structural integrity of the filler neck.
Copes with Real Situation. Under real-world situations, the AEM DryFlow Air Filter functions admirably. It flows almost as smoothly when filthy as when clean, and its unique non-woven filter material is engineered to shed dirt under engine vibration, as opposed to cotton-gauze filters, which retain dirt. But don't believe that airflow has come at the expense of filtration. The AEM DryFlow Air Filter collects up to 99% of impurities, allowing engine rings and seals to last longer.
Simple to Take Care Of. Finally, the AEM DryFlow Air Filter is simple to maintain. Simply striking the filter a few times will dislodge excess dirt from the pleats, and the cleaning process is straightforward. Most importantly, the DryFlow filter does not require oiling, removing the guesswork from maintenance.
Installation. Replacing your old and dirty air filter with this new AEM DryFlow Air Filter is quick and easy, which can take up approximately 5 to 10 minutes of your time. You just need a few basic hand tools like the screwdriver to conduct this car work.
Warranty. AEM Induction guarantees its air intake systems and Dryflow air filters for the life of your vehicle. Mechanical damage (i.e., faulty installation or fitting), overuse damage, or flying debris will void this warranty. AEM will not warrant powder coating on air intakes if the finish has been cleaned with a hydrocarbon-based solvent. Only a mild soap and water solution should be used to clean the powder coating. For redemption, proof of purchase of both the vehicle and the AEM part is required.
