Description
Bigger and Stronger. The Synergy Manufacturing Heavy Duty Steering Kit replaces the stock steering with a bigger, stronger, bolt-on design. The steering knuckles don't need to be drilled or reamed. This kit can be installed directly. This steering's geometry was modeled after the stock Y-Style steering. In comparison to T-style steering, Y-style steering reduces bump steer, and by keeping the front wheels apart, it helps prevent death wobble.
Optimally Strong. The entire kit consists of brand-new HD Metal on Metal Tie Rod Ends, a new Tie Rod, Drag Link, and Steering Stabilizer Clamp. The 1-3/8 inch 4130 Chromoly steel used for the tie rod is heat treated for optimal strength. To prevent deflection, the drag link is manufactured from a 1-3/8 inch 1018 Solid Bar.
Corrosion Resistant. For optimal durability and corrosion resistance, both pieces have an abrasion-resistant Powder coat finish. The Tie Rod has Left Hand and Right Hand opposing threads to enable for Tie Rod length adjustment without removal from the vehicle, and the Drag Link has our Double Adjuster Assembly allowing for Drag Link length adjustment without removal from the vehicle.
Installation. Putting this Steering Kit on your ride is easy and requires no drilling.
Warranty. There is a 12-month warranty on this product.
Application. This Synergy Manufacturing Heavy Duty Steering Kit works with all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJs.
