      Description

      Replaces Mechanical Linkage. If your Jeep Wrangler’s mechanical linkage starts getting problematic, you can get this Steinjager Transfer Case Cable Shifter as the replacement. This kit is designed to get rid of your problematic stock shifter linkage. It is a complete kit and replaces everything between the shifter and the transfer case. Enjoy a worry-free driving with a fresh set of cable shifter in your Jeep.

      High-Quality Kit. This adjustable transfer case cable shifter kit comes with all the necessary components for a complete replacement. It comes with stainless steel cable core and cable rods that ensure your shifter gets that 4-inch radius without kinking or affecting the movement of the transfer case’s inner core. All the brackets included are finished with durable powder coating for great rust and corrosion resistance.

      Bolt-On Installation. Although installation requires some mechanical knowledge for this kit, the process is still a simple, bolt-on one. The kit attaches to the base of the OEM handle of your Jeep and easily mounts with the supplied hardware. An instruction manual comes with the kit and an installation video is available on Steinjager’s website for visual reference.

      Limited 12-Month Warranty. This transfer case cable shifter kit includes 12-month warranty coverage from Steinjager. This covers defects in materials and workmanship only. Customers will be granted warranty coverage as long as they are able to mail-in the completely-filled warranty card within 30 days after the purchase.

      Application. This Steinjager Transfer Case Cable Shifter kit is designed for use on all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models. Please note that this kit only fits 231 transfer cases and it will not work on a Rubicon.

      Technical Note. If you have a 2002-2004 with the NV3550 manual transmission, there may be an interference issue with the reverse switch. You may need to purchase a reverse switch for a 2000-2001 Wrangler with the same transmission. The older switch will have a long pig tail attached to the sensor to clear this kit.
