These temperature sensors feature housings molded from high-temperature automotive-grade plastic, offering superior resistance to deterioration and cracking due to engine bay heat. Direct Installation. These temperature sensors install directly into your Wrangler YJ’s factory sensor location which is towards the front of the engine near the thermostat. No additional modifications to your vehicle are necessary. Also, installation is completed using just basic hand tools.
