The Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake is the cold air intake designed to provide your Toyota Tacoma with an outstanding performance boost in an easy-to-install package. This cold air intake’s air box cover, air filter, and heat shield are designed to work synergistically to provide your engine with load after load of cold air. This, in turn, gives your truck that increase in power and throttle response necessary for aggressive driving situations, both on and off-road.
No ECU Re-Tune Required. The Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake makes all of its extra power through a well-designed air system, and does not require a re-tune to your ECU. That being said, an ECU re-tune in the future can always be beneficial for your vehicle, and is something to keep in mind.
Spectre High Performance Air Filter. The Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake comes with the advanced Spectre HPR oiled air filter. This air filter is designed to effectively filter out engine contaminants, while providing unrestricted airflow. This completely washable oiled air filter utilizes a synthetic filter media and is easy to re-oil using the proper re-oiling kit.
Tough Build Quality. The Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake features an injection-molded air box cover and a metal heat shield. The air box cover is constructed in a way that eliminates turbulence points, for free-flowing air. The heat shield effectively protects the air filter from engine heat, and ensures only cold air is provided to your engine. The heat shield is also finished in a black powder coat for excellent corrosion protection.
Direct Bolt-On Design. The Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake bolts-on directly using your Tacoma's factory air system location. All necessary hardware is included for a trouble-free install. Additionally, no modifications to your vehicle are needed.
Covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. The Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against structural defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
