This Dana 44 Rear Axle Bearing Kit is a complete kit to keep your Jeep JK rolling down the road or on the trail. Manufacturer has been supplying superior replacement parts for Jeeps since 1963, so they are a name you can trust to keep you safely on the road for years to come.
Factory Replacement. Hardened steel is used for the bearings in this kit and this Dana 44 Rear Axle Bearing Kit is a direct replacement kit for what came originally from the factory. It includes everything you need for your Jeep JK's Dana rear end.
Installation. This is an involved repair/replacment and requires a good knowledge of drivetrains and their operation. Further, it will require more than a basic tool set and a shop in which you can get your Jeep up off its tires so that you can access and work on the axle. If you are not comfortable with, or have no experience in working on drivetrains, you will want to take this kit to a certified mechanic to have them do the work for you.
