Types of Jeep Floor Mats

The notoriety of the Jeep Wrangler makes it so you can get Jeep branded anything, including floor mats. From basic, universal rubber mats to thermo-plastic laser scanned mats, you can find the Jeep logo on just about any variety of floor mats. Universal mats will do the job, but only to a degree. They’re light cover at best. If you’re planning on really getting your boots dirty, you’ll want to reach for the thermo-plastic design. The best Jeep floor mats will usually have a lip around the edges of the map to prevent mud and slush from staining the footwells. They’re also handy for trapping everything in the mat, so you can just dump the mess outside when you need to. In fact, cleaning most floor mats is as easy as pulling them out and hosing them down. Carpeted mats, however, will need a vacuum and/or carpet cleaner.

Rear Trunk Mats for Additional Coverage

Front and rear floor mats are a given, but there’s more ways to protect your Jeep’s interior. Rear trunks mats or cargo liners are perfect for a busted spare tire, a set of wading boots, or muddied up rope from pulling out a friend. Like the top of the line floor mats, the best jeep trunk mats are form fitted to prevent muck from spilling over the sides. The corrugated pattern not only helps trap water and sand but can serve as a traction pad for anything you want to store in the back.
