It also powerfully enhances your JT’s throttle response and engine sound for better ground dynamics and more aggressive driving experience.
No Computer Tune Required. The MXP Series Cold Air Intake System does not require recalibration to operate, thanks to the built-in velocity stock that maintains proper air-to-fuel ratios. With its sophisticated system design, this MXP Series will increase power using the factory tune. ExtremeTerrain, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram the ECU to get the best possible performance from this intake.
High-Quality Synthetic Filter. The SynthaFlow air filter included in this MXP Series Intake Kit features multiple layers of cotton gauze in combination with Airaid’s synthetic material. It exhibits superior filtration mechanism that directs a large volume of free-flowing air without letting the smallest particles to get through, thanks to its exceptional dust holding capacity.
Excellent Service Life. Each of the MXP Series components is built for high performance and reliable functionality. Its durable, roto-molded heat shield efficiently keeps the hotter air in the engine compartment from getting into the intake system. The black, cross-linked, high-density polyethylene intake tube is engineered to powerfully direct the cooler air into the combustion chamber. High-strength stainless steel clamps are also included for a secure installation.
Bolt-On Installation. The MXP Series intake system is engineered to fit into your Jeep’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation can typically be completed in about an hour using standard hand tools.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. Airaid offers a lifetime warranty against factory defects in materials and craftsmanship of this MXP Series intake system. Some limitations and exclusions are indicated in the manufacturer’s warranty guide. Please check the terms and conditions for full details.
Not CARB-Certified. This MXP Series Cold Air Intake is not CARB-certified at this time. It is legal in California for use on race vehicles only. The use of this device on vehicles used on public streets or highways is strictly prohibited in California and others states that have adopted California emission regulations.
